## Most concurrent viewers on a single stream

The all-time record belongs to Ibai Llanos: his boxing event La Velada del Año V peaked at about 9.33 million concurrent viewers on his Twitch channel on July 26, 2025 (9,334,779 as tracked by Streams Charts and reported by Dexerto) — nearly two and a half times the previous record.

The chasing pack is also Ibai: La Velada IV reached 3,846,256 (July 2024), La Velada III 3,442,725 (July 2023) and La Velada II 3,356,464 (June 2022). Before the Velada era, the record was TheGrefg's 2,470,347, set during his Fortnite skin reveal in January 2021.

For context beyond Twitch: the largest live audience measured on a single streaming channel anywhere is CazéTV's 21.1 million concurrent viewers on YouTube during a 2026 World Cup match — a different platform, but it shows the scale live streaming has reached. ## Most active subscribers at once

Kai Cenat holds the all-time subscriber record: on September 28, 2025 — day 27 of his month-long Mafiathon 3 subathon — he became the first channel in Twitch history to pass 1,000,000 active subscribers; press reports put the count around 1.1 million when the event ended on September 30, 2025.

He broke his own records to get there: Mafiathon 2 ended at 728,535 subs (November 2024), which had eclipsed his Mafiathon 1 run of 306,621 (March 2023). Before Cenat, the record was Ludwig's 283,066 from his 2021 subathon, which in turn broke Ninja's long-standing 269,154 from the Fortnite boom of 2018.

Important context: these record numbers are documented because they were publicly announced and widely reported. ## Most-followed channels

Kai Cenat became Twitch's most-followed channel in July 2025, ending Ninja's seven-year run at #1, and crossed the 20-million-follower mark in early 2026 — the first channel ever to do so. Ninja's roughly 19 million and the Spanish-speaking giants Ibai, AuronPlay and Rubius complete the all-time top group (as of July 2026).
