Whether you're picking a name for a new channel, checking if a streamer you heard about actually exists, or need the exact login for another tool, this checker gives you a straight answer from Twitch itself — in your browser, with nothing stored. One honest caveat: if no channel shows up, the name is not in use right now, but that does not always mean you can register it. Twitch holds back the names of renamed, suspended and reserved accounts, and enforces its username policy at signup. The checker tells you what exists; the final word on claiming a name always happens at Twitch's signup form.
